The zooplankton diversity of Bharathapuzha river was studied from (june 2011- may 2013) in order to evaluate the seasonal trends. Four major groups were identified namely protozoa, roifera, cladocera and copepod. The highest species diversity was recorded in the month of june especially in pre monsoon period
